So it’s only when focused on.  I pretty much expected that.

 

This story is going to have a LOT of costumes and byplay.  I’m still trying to think of what the characters are investigating/trying to get, so feel free to comment what you want to see in an civilized environment (real estate, secret treasure buried under a statue, etc).  I’m totally open to suggestions.  And while you’re making them, here’s the final poll.  I may start this week, but I won’t be doing much work on stories the next, so though it’ll be done by Halloween, it won’t be done SOON.

Sorry dragon people, option 3 led a come from behind in this poll.  If there's a big call for it and it fits the placement I may still find a place for a dragon.  This admittedly makes it easier for costumes to show up, but I’m going to have to think of something they’re after.  I don’t want to give away too much of what I’m thinking of doing, but I also want to be sure people get what they want.  So!

 

Should we see characters disguising themselves:

    1.     Only when they are the main focus (so you don’t know who the monster is when the focus character is being chased and you may not even know who the hero is when the monster is being focused on)

    2.     All the time (so you know who is who in the whole story)

Female on male had the highest avg percent (by being really upvoted on one site) but not the most votes.  Sooooo, I’ll do both! ^-^  Integrating a very good suggestion I got in a couple places which you’ll see the fruition of in the story.

 

So!  Next question: Where?

    1.    Camping/hiking in a forest (mostly animal monsters)

    2.    Exploring ruins (animal and ghosts, maybe a dragon or something similar depending on where the ruins are)

    3.    Urban/Suburban (anthro animals and maybe zombies, could involve escaped zoo animals as well)

Region of the world is likely western Europe or North America unless there’s a big commentary outcry for some other part of the world
